Wind Damage to our Church

Posted on April 17, 2016 in: Primary Home Page

The extreme wind storms of early April with wind gusts exceeding 60mph did cause some damage to our church.

In addition to losing a few more roof tiles, the tall cross on the very top of our church was loosened by the extremely high winds. In addition, the cement base holding the cross secure actually cracked from the wind moving the cross side to side. This repeated swaying in the high winds has made the original condition even worse.

Emergency repairs will have to be made as soon as possible, including the renting of a four story lift to allow the workmen to complete these repairs as quickly as possible.
