Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion play an important role in the life of the Church. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist in the reverent distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ, bringing the Eucharist to the faithful and, when needed, to the sick and homebound.
